Hello and welcome to Our Hearts Adore!  We are Kaitlyn and Isabel (from Little Thoughts, Big Ideas) and we are so excited to introduce you to our blog.  Our blog will consist of our own wardrobes, opinions on trends, inspired looks, fashion advice, and fashion icons ranging from Kate Middleton to Jackie Kennedy. We will explore different time periods, how style has evolved, and which trends we enjoy best. Our goal is to provide fashion inspiration, education, and advice in a reasonable manner. We understand that achieving the hottest looks off of the runway can be a difficult, and nearly impossible, task. So, our goal is to help provide these same trends and ideal looks at an affordable price. In our ootd’s (outfit of the day), you will get to see our different styles and tastes. We will have separate pages for either of our ootd’s, so that you can easily look up our style.

Now, though Isabel and I are good friends, who adore ;) fashion, we do have different styles. Below we have described our styles, so that we can make it easier for you to identify whose style you are more compatible with. Do not worry, we will also show fun ways to combine different styles to create a look that is uniquely you!

Hello everyone! My name is Kaitlyn Franco and I am so happy to be a part of this blog! I am so unbelievably excited to start this blog. I have always loved fashion and am very lucky to be able to share this love with so many other people. Isabel and I decided to make this blog together because we both share a mutual love for fashion. I met Isabel in seventh grade and we’ve been friends ever since! My hope for this blog is to provide fashion inspiration for all of you! Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have, whether they are related to fashion or not! I would love to get to know all of you!

As for my style, I like to keep things very simple. I like feeling very comfortable, not only in my clothes, but in my own skin. On a day-to-day basis, I wear very natural makeup and casual outfits. At night, I like to go more bold. I have a very bipolar closet. Some days, I’m casual, other days I may be very girly, edgy, or boho. It all depends on my mood and the occasion!

Hi everyone, I’m Isabel Fabela!  Many of you may know me from my other blog, Little Thoughts, Big Ideas.  (If not, you should check it out :)).  I am so thrilled to be starting Our Hearts Adore with my friend, Kaitlyn.  I have known her since seventh grade and am so very glad to start this journey with her.  It may be a crazy idea, but why not have a little fun?  I am truly grateful to all of you who take the time to read this blog and I hope many of you will walk away inspired and full of fashion.  I have such a passion for style and it is honestly one of the things I genuinely care about.  Clothes are so beautiful to me and I find it to be a form of art.  Maybe some of us will even be able to become pen pals and friends over our love of style!

When it comes to my style, I try to keep it feminine and sometimes bold even.  I love statement pieces and items that are not common.  I love frills, buttons, lace, and everything in between.  I am comfortable in anything, from tights and skirts to a pair of jeans.  My favorite time periods for style consist of the 1950s and 1920s (and now, I suppose).  I look up to Kate Middleton, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and other women who wear (or wore) classic, simple pieces.  They keep it modest, and that is something I absolutely love.  I am sometimes even dressed very preppy.  If my outfit is not pulled together, nothing feels right.  If you love dressing up, then we are most likely very similar!

I honestly hope we can all bond over the joy we find in fashion!  Thanks again!
